Exercise your mind and body
So in my apartment complex we have a gym with 2 TV’s in it. I try to get in there every afternoon for a cardio or weight routine. Today was a cardio routine day and when I arrived the TV was already tuned to BET. I don’t mind the channel as I enjoy some good beats once in a while along with some Alicia Keys soul. Here is what I observed while watching the channel though
1. Ushers new song “Burn” could be a song about Ghonnorreah (sp?)
2. Kotex is releasing..get ready..new scented maxi pads….ok in the name of all things holy, what the hell is that!!
3. R Kelly has no talent except looking up kiddie porn
4. The host of the hour I was watching had voter registration cards on her show for the guests who were not registered. Now if you are forced to register, as they basically were on TV, and you had to choose a party to register under what do you think you would register under…..maybe the party that the channel recommends. I don’t know, maybe I am just a neurotic (wink Hayes) Republican wondering how that left wing gets so many votes when they just don’t have a platform.
5. I wonder what the BET community thinks of Bill Cosby’s recent remarks towards the black population. I have always liked Bill Cosby and although I am not in the black community agree with him.
6. I read an article that mentioned that most men refer to their college years as the best shape they were ever in. I disagree, I am in the best shape I have ever been in, even better than in HS when I would be playing Volleyball and Street Hockey every day. And yes Kerry, all that water does give you energy, like gas in a car keep it filled up. I find the 32 ounce Nalgene bottles to be handy as I try to just drink 2 of those a day (I of course have a nice orange Clemson one).
7. Be prepared for Clemson football talk soon as tis the season, the greatest season of all, COLLEGE FOOTBALL!! And this year we have GT on my Birthday (my fiancee gets the prize for best birthday game ever though, anyone guess…? Clemson FSU last year!)
8. And in funny web stuff my buddy Doug reminded me about homestarrunner.com, check it out for some funnny cartoons and such. And yes before you ask, it is my kind of stupid humor.
