In the beginning
Yes it is another work weekend for me so extreme random thoughts will prevail for the next few blogs.
1. Have you ever had to go to the bathroom sooo bad (#1) that your kidneys hurt? I’m not sure if it was my kidneys but my lower back was in extreme agony until I uhh relieved the pressure. Not fun, not fun at all. And before you ask, I was trekking around the golden corner of South Carolina and didn’t have a sanitary place to go.
2. I have a co-worker who used the word huck-a-buck to describe someone, I guess that means somewhat of a hick somwhere. It reminded me of the commercial my buddy doug told me about with travashamockery and burgleflickle (I believe it was a beer commercial) I have yet to see it, I hope to some day. Making up words is no fair unless you post a memo on the definition!
3. Speaking of commercials- After the Quizno’s singing mutants and the FedEx doom commercials I was waiting to see what commercial I would like next. I believe that I could watch the new DQ mochachino commercial over many times, you just can’t beat that blindfolded soccer mom aggressively takng the drink from the testers and running into the venetian blinded window. The blinds getting all rattled adds that extra oomph to the comic humor.
4. DO you have a favorite “road” smell? Here are a few of mine
- Diesel exhaust- reminds me of HS sports and marching band
- Skunk - I don’t know why but that is one of the most interesting smells there is.
- Gasoline - As I travelled alot as a kid I guess it reminds me of family trips in some wierd way.
And the worst smell would have to be my trip this past week which involved following a pig truck that was going at a speed in which I did not want to keep up the speed to pass him and then proceeding to the smell of turkey sh!t at the plant, and yes the carolina heat does wonders to enhance the smell of turkey runoff.
That is all for now, I expect to write more later this weekend.
Hey I just noticed Blogger updated their post abilities, I will have to try some stuff out sometime.
