Update

Well in my infinite confindence of mediocre computer knowledge I have successfully farked my computer up.
Rewind for the full story:
I recently received my new video card and power supply. I uninstalled all the old video card drivers but to make sure I thought I would format the hard drive as it was having problems with some programs anyways and I haven’t formatted it before. I had also run XPLite on it and successfully removed a much needed program which has in turn disabled my email in one form. Also when I run “Notepad” the notepad pops up but will not do anything, it also will not close and is supposedly using 99% of my CPPU when running. Luckily I can overrun that in applications and force a shutdown of the notepad application.
So anyway that all leads me to putting all my files that I consider irreplaceable on my smaller hard drive and prepping for a format of the main hard drive. First off let me say that I didn’t have the Windows XP boot disks so I used a windows 98 boot disk which does not like large drives, but it deleted the partition anyways. And now I have a nice box of components that is a great coffee table for the time being. Hopefully I can boot from the 98 disk again and boot into CD support and run my XP CD as for some reason my computer does not want to boot from the XP CD, maybe it can’t, I don’t know. Oh well, always excitinig when I decide to format my computer.

In other news I will be taking a long weekend as my boss has picked up on my plan to stockpile comp days until I have the rest of the year off and is forcing me to take days off, thats fine I can go and enjoy Charleston. After Lauren and I go to a wedding this weekend I have to get to the local airport and fly up to Kraft corporate for a week for food science course. The corporate offices are in Madison Wisconsin. Yeah beef and cheese for everyone. Following the madison trip I come back for the last week of third shift and then the week of August 9th I start second shift. Along with starting second shift we will be receiving another supervisor which in turn adds another man to the weekend shifts. I think the plan is to start doing 8 hour weekends instead of the 12’s that I was getting comp time off of. If we go to 8 hour weekends I think that it will be every other weekend instead of every third. This royally screws my football schedule as I will not be able to get to a bunch of them. Oh well I am not in college any more!
