Friends, Football and Food poisoning
Well football season started this past weekend with a bang. Let me start from Friday when I was planning on leaving work at 9. Everything was going fine until we got a call from the boss man telling us that we had a problem and that a certain machine had to be torn apart so that we could resolve the problem. Sooo that ended my hopes of leaving early, I was lucky enough to get out at the end of the shift. Lauren picked me up at the plant and we drove up to Clemson. The next morning we woke up around 8 and got to the tailgate at around 10. For the tailgate I brought a bunch of products from our company store including hot dogs, bacon and some other stuff. While tailgating we watched the BGSU falcons play Oklahoma and drank a couple of Jack and Gingers and some Yueng Ling (spelling I KNOW!!). After running into a ton of alumni we headed for the game where we ran into one of Laurens coworkers, needless to say I was a bit tipsy and was supposedly very humorous. When we finally made it into the game we found ourselves on the first row behind the home endzone. Supposedly throughout the game we were on TV many times. Although the game was supposed to be a blowout the Tigers barely scraped by after a 2 point conversion to go into the first of 2 overtimes. While in the 4th quarter I went from tipsy to sun stroke and possibly into food poisoning ( we have yet to decide which or what I went into when). Anyways, by the end of the 4th quarter I was feeling like crap and sticking through 2 OT’s was no help on the system. When the game was finally over we headed back to the tailgate and I began to go into what I can only describe as the beginning of an all night puke fest. We headed back to the apt and I went straight to bed then to the toilet then to bed then to the toilet then bed and so on and so on. The puke fest went on until early into the next morning when my body either decided that I didn’t have anything left in me or I was too tired to convulse. Either way I woke up a ton better than a couple hours before and we headed to Charleston for Labor Day. We spent labor day hanging out with my buddy Will and his fiancee and helped rip out their bathroom for remodeling. All the while hurricane Frances was making her way from Florida into the mainland. And that is what I got to drive through today, a ton of wind and torrential downpour. And now I am home and not looking forward to driving again into work.

Are you required to inform your employer that their food made you sick?
I’m glad I can’t afford Kraft “quality” at this point in my life.

It’s Yuengling, one word.
Don’t mess with the YL (lager, baby!). You’ve never known a cheap beer that tastes that great.
