All hail Billy boy
Well I went and updated my computers with the service pack for Windows XP. What I found to be the result was further attempts to wipe out all computer programs that Microsoft could possibly influence. I now have a new Microsoft antivirus program as well as a new and improved firewall. I also am running Norton anti-virus and internet protection. Now do I delete Norton and sell my soul completely to the hack prone microsoft (basically the installation of their own AV and firewall, to me, seem like a big white glove smacking the hacker world) or let the computer probably run into conflicts between the two programs. And before you click the respond button Doug, I know…..Linux!!

Keep Norton and use ZoneAlarm. Disable the M$-peddled craptastic firewall and “anti”-virus solutions, as they’re incomplete and ineffective.
You can accomplish all this through the security settings dealie that SP2 installs. And don’t turn on auto updates, as that can really bugger your Xp install.
Oh, and happy birthday.

Seriously, though, happy birthday. Hope it was a fun Saturday.
