Firefox

Ok you firefox fans, I switched over to see what all the hubub was about and I do admit it is faster than Explorer but all my colors on my blog are gone. All I see is Orange and Black. Maybe Firefox doesn’t understand the HTML definitions of the colors I chose or something….

You’re right. I just opened your blog with IE and it was more colorful.

I have no idea what the problem is.

In the words of the wise sage yosemite sam: “rizza frizza racka fracka rabbit”, because “oooooh I’g gonna git you” wouldn’t fit here

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I see your blog just fine on Firefox both under Windows and Linux.

Okay, that’s freakin’ bizarre. It does look different under IE and Firefox. I think you’re not coding to the correct W3C standards - Firefox displays things as specified in the W3C specs, IE cheats and takes shortcuts. What you need to do is make your blog look right under Firefox and then it should look right in IE as well.

As a side note, for some reason, your logo bar is shown as a link in Firefox but not in IE. I think one of the Blogger stylesheets or scriptlets are doing a browser detect and making IE render slightly differently.

Okay, this is officially weird - now your title is a link in both browsers, whereas it wasn’t before…

Am I to understand that Doug’s viewing of the blog is literally deteriorating the quality of the blog?

    Interesting.

    I see colors.

I changed some settings at work and do not have firefox so if you can see the purple in the side bar and blue headers please comment on it. I will be able to work on it when I get home I guess.

  10. Nobrainer Says:

Yup, I see purple and blue.

Also, maybe you could work on the margin that contains your links. It’s too narrow when I use firefox.
