Better to have the downturns early rather than later on.
How’s your 401k structured? Any matching? Mandatory investments in company stock?
If my IRA’s down 6 months from now, I’ll probably drop in some extra money (which I should probably do anyway, but a low point would be better).

And back down today. Good thing I’m in for the long haul.
On the upside, it seems that consumers are starting to pay down their credit card debt. I imagine that once individuals regain fiscal responsibility, the government will suddenly follow suit.
