Reverting to what never should have been
They say that history is cyclical. A few years back swing music tried to make a comeback…..it didn’t survive past “The Maskâ€. And now we move up the timeline to the 80’s, the generation that we all want to forget but is notched in time by the cult like fanaticism to keep bringing it back to life. Collectors with their NKOTB, Cabbage Patch and such try to keep their passions alive but luckily they are kept asunder. But now we come to the Frankenstein recreations of the 80’s generation, when science doesn’t get the hint to let it go they go and modify the product. Somewhat like the million dollar man some genious decided “We have the parts, we can fix him†and made the new and improved Teddy Ruxpin! I completely forgot about this bear that read “along†with kids and sang songs. I am surprised that there was never a horror flick about this just going so wrong. A possessed Teddy Ruxpin would have been hilarious.

Was Chuckie based more on Teddy Ruxpin or the Cabbage Patch kids?
I always thought Teddy was creepy though. I’m very glad I never owned one.
I need to invent something really great. Something that will be back every 20 years. Something that will make me a million dollars… like the pet rock.

Get it. You have a decision to make and you are standing there, and you just jump to it. Don’t forget My Buddy’s friend with benefits…Kid Sister.
