You don’t need an iPod to “podcast”. Like “Kleenex” or “Xerox”, the whole concept of an MP3 player has become synonymous with “iPod” by the vast majority of US consumers.

“Podcasting” basically means recording yourself to MP3 format and distributing your content via the Internet[s]. No iPod required - Winamp’ll get you there too.

And no, the FCC has no jurisdiction over podcasts, since you’re not going out over publically-owned airwaves.

We could start one that was a group broad, errm, podcast using Skype…

All of us calling in and riffing about stuff. Might be cool.

Nobrainer would call in to Wha and Poot and they would call in to him. They would be the local affilaites of the JDGA Broadcast. That would rock.

I wouldn’t mind having a little radio show. I could pitch new local and medium range bands and critique their cds. That would be Sweet.

Am I allowed to drink? I know its a fine line between my comedic genius due to alcohol enhancement and the ability to understand the words that are coming out of my mouth. Maybe we could put me on a drip and control it. No one would have to see if its adio only.
