Just depressing
So much for optimism. Well at least this shoots down my hopes and gets me to look at it through a different view. At least it’s a young team and they have at least 3 years to go!

My colleague basically said the same thing to each other a couple weeks ago. Except, we didn’t catch the off weekend slowing our momentum. Shoot.

I agree, I like being the mental underdog. It makes winning so much better. The only problem is the fans who still think that we should be winning national championships because we won one 20 years ago.

I love Clemson football… but honestly? a 6 win season? If Whitehurst stops chasing women, that might be possible… he’s more worried about fame and fortune… in other words stats… I hope we win 6… but I think we’re gonna lose some easy games… NC State has the best Defensive line in the NATION, bar-none. Wake forest should be an easy win, but their running back is awesome, but still not the greatest. South Carolina should be an easy victory, but if history repeats itself… we’re up for a loss. I hope its 6-5… I actually hope its 11-0 + 1 (win in championship bowl game). But you guys go on and think positive… i’ll think realistic. I’m not packing my bags for a bowl game… but if we do make it, i’ll eat my words and pack yours.

Clearly I don’t know who I’m addressing, but I won’t let that slow me down. If Whitehurst’s motivation is his own stats, that’s not entirely horrible. If he’s throwing a lot of TDs, few INTs, and covering a lot of yardage, the whole offense will be humming along pretty well. I’m pretty sure I’m in favor of the offense doing well.
Also, if we go 11-0, you need to factor in the ACC championship game.
