From Instapundit’s review of Serenity:

I haven’t seen a character-driven action picture this much fun since the last Indiana Jones movie, or maybe since the first Die Hard. Only instead of one or two heroes to cheer for, you get nine.

I reaaaaally don’t think you need to say anything else to a sci fi action adventure movie loving freak like myself. Oh and for those of you who haven’t seen the series, all reviews claim that you didn’t need to as the movie has a good background established at the beginning of the movie. Many reviews also state that this movie might just have the potential to bet the darkhorse blockbuster of the summer. Needless to say I WILL be going to check it out. My wife laughed at me when I found out that I would not be able to see it on opening day as planned due to the scheduling. No prob, I will catch it on the weekend! She might even like the movie!
