‘Twas the night before Christmas
And I’m in the plant.
 The End
 Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, etc…etc…
It seems Christmas round 2 and 3 may be combined so I will have a post on Monday about the accumulation of gifts! Also, keep an eye on the blog as I work all next week; 12 hours on Monday and Tuesday and standard 8 hours on Wed thru Fri. Did I mention how much FUN my job is?! And now the rumors that the company may no longer pay us overtime! Yeah let’s see how long you keep salaried employees when you mandate the weekend and holiday work but don’t pay them the equivalent overtime. That’s the personal rant, I won’t even get into what the projected “comp day” program will do to the productivity of the plant!!

I second Nobrainer.
Mannheim’s pretty good. I like TransSiberian Orchaestra myself.

AHHHHH! Two of the very best in the Christmas department. I am glad the spirit and the joyfullness of these two groups is not past our generation. I had a nonstop barage of these for no less than 4 hours Christmas mornign/afternoon with some scatterred Kenny G. (hey it was the season) and loved it. I hope this music lives on as opposed to the pop crap versions of the classics we are forced fed for 5 weeks of the year.

Nothing like some good Christmas Eve Sarejevo…
As far as your job goes: Be glad you got overtime. In my plant - if you are salary, and you are management, then no overtime. If you are about to loose it, then allow me to be the first to welcome you into this brave new world…
