Friday, January 27th, 2006

Well, I am bored and Doug @ Literal Barrage tagged me with a blog version of the chain mail.  I think you have to add your own new four thing at the end, so if you play on add something new.

The Flood Gates Open

Tuesday, January 24th, 2006

For those of you who don’t know, I am an avid cook.  I find it therapeutic in a way, must be the engineer in me enjoying seeing a project to completion and people enjoying the fruits of my labor.  I have mastered cookies, or at least that’s what I believe people begging for me to [...]

Ejumacation

I am a frequent viewer of FOX News, and by frequent I mean that I like it as background noise in my house.  When I converse with other “educated” folks and base conversation off of what I heard on FOX, I sometimes get goffed at as those people claim that FOX has no factual basis and [...]

I stopped by the HR office to rib one of my favorite gamecock counterparts about a recent trip he took for “vacation”. The rumor was that he was heading out to California for an interview with the San Diego plant which just obtained one of our HR counterparts. He told me that he did not [...]

The sounds of hot gas eminating from a festering boil

Wednesday, January 11th, 2006

It may have been that the first opinion I ever heard of Ted Kennedy was that of my mom in a rage accusing him of being a murderer but ever since I can’t stand to listen to him.  All I ever seem to hear from him, in laimens terms, is bitching.  Of course I enjoy [...]

11,000 and all’s quiet

Monday, January 9th, 2006

So we hit 11,000 in the DOW today, the first time since the war started and CNN is chirping crickets at the news.  Nothing on the front page and nothing in the US section.  Bitches……bemoaning the war but heaven forbid the economy does well while they bitch and moan.

Where are they now?

Sunday, January 8th, 2006

Have you ever wondered where someone you went to school with was now?  Well sometimes you run into someone you know in the strangest situations.  Case in point:
The wife and I went to our favorite wing shack, Wild Wing, which is a half hour drive away but well worth it.  The venture was taken to [...]
