Around the last presidential election I heard  a commentator say that governors have historically made better presidents than senators as they deal with the “commonfolk” while the senators sit in DC.  After the recent House and Senate immigration bills and votes, I have to say that this comment is making more sense every day!  Now I have to finish my letter to my senator who seems to be afraid of the hispanic vote and is calling the house bill “republican political suicide”.  And before you ask, lindsey graham is a republican.  (google his name and immigration for his stats)
