Write your whole freakin legislature
I just wrote DeMint, Graham and Wilson on my feelings of May 1st and the immigration problem that the country is facing. I encourage you to do the same. Head over to This Page and enter your zip code to find your representatives and find your way to their homepages to drop them a line. You may be the first voice or the millionth voice that they will hear, but at least they will know what their voters think!

Here’s what I think TODAY (I may change my mind tomorrow):
1) All persons who can not establish legal residency but who have been employed for the last 30 days can apply to become a citizen. They may continue to work for as long as the application process takes. Proof of application will be provided for in a secure manner, and is their temporary green card.
2) All persons who can not establish legal residency and who have not been employed for the last 30 days have 2 weeks to find employment, at which point they may apply to become a citizen.
3) All others are returned to their country of origin, at our expense, and given $1000.
4) All money transfers to Latin America are illegal unless the person on the receiving end can proove U.S citizenship thru the consulate/embassy, or other local U.S presence (U.S companies with locations in Latin America can vouch for their employees).
So. What do I win?

30 days? It takes more than that to establish a habit!
