Not just a __________ (enter sport) conference. Basketball I think is a nobrainer on that one. Football, the ACC is quickly becoming a national powerhouse with multiple teams breaking the top 25. And now BASEBALL in which the college world series has welcomed 4 ACC teams into Omaha. That’s half the field folks, all ACC teams. So needless to say, it’s a 50/50 chance that an ACC team will win the tourney. And with Clemson as the number 1 seed, it should (hopefully) be a fun ride.

Pingback: The Blatherings of Mr. Malph » Poll… of some sort
To answer Malph’s Question…a CWS Title without question. 10 win football seasons are great but in the new 12 game season, it still leaves you at least one short of the ultimate goal if not two or three depending on how you count a bowl game. 10 wins in a season with 13 or 14 games (ACC Championship and Bowl) will garner a Top 15 ranking. You can’t replace and barely duplicate a major championship.
By the way, a The Sporting Gnomes are keeping a close watch on the subject if Agent can get them linked to the article.
Well if the TIGERS don’t get some RUNS on the board… we’ll have to bank our hopes on the football season…
