Better than a day in the office

So I have been served my first summons to jury duty outside of the collegiate experience and go in today for the opening day of what I am supposed to plan for a potentially entire week of jury duty.  In most peoples eyes this is a nightmare, to those who work in my plant, they see it as pure luck.  I seriously went in and told some of my coworkers that I had jury duty today and they looked at me with the sort of look like you go the last ice cream bar from the freezer and said “man you’re lucky”.  Yes folks thats how people view their jobs, jury duty would be better.  I was talking to my mom about the jury duty and she had the average American “eww” reaction to which I quickly responded, “Hey, I won’t be at work!!”.  I mean, I get to sleep in with a 9:30 start time as compared to the 4:30 wake up I do every day!  And that’s just one of the plusses!!  Speaking of work, we went to a wedding this weekend and I landed some contacts in the GVegas area.  This could get inetresting.  Hopefully I start hearing from people soon.
