Sell out with me oh yeah!
Showing his fandome for Reel Big Fish, President Bush decided to continue his selling out of the American base and beliefs by butchering the spanish language and thanking hispanics for everything they do at the Hispanic Prayer Breakfast. Now I understand that the breakfast was not filled with illegals, but when my (re: I voted for him) president continues to defy what his base recognizes as a problem, it starts to piss some people off. “My” president continues to push for immigration reform in the wrong direction even after the original bill failed. Take a hint! Not only that but now he goes off and starts joining Teddy “I like long drives into rivers” Kennedy in openly speaking spanish and encouraging the migration to the acceptance of Americans learning to speak spanish to accomodate the immigrants plight. I speak spanish rather well and find it helpful in my place of work but I chose to learn that language and completely disagree with the arrogance by immigrants that is causing the country that they decided to come to (re:invade in most cases) to learn their language. Like a bumper sticker on a rusted old pickup truck said: “Welcome to America; Learn the damn language”
Whatever, I can’t even type straight I’m so annoyed!! Check out NumbersUSA.com to see how your local representative did on their recent immigration vote. I hear that some of them are wavering and might vote the other way in the new vote coming soon. Get it through their heads to focus on the border first THEN move on to the next step instead of spreading everything so thin.

Agent, if you were as obsessed about boobs as you are about immigration, you’d be a much happier person. Hell, we’d all be happier because you’d periodically update us on how great boobs are. Man, I wish you liked boobs.

*waiting to stop laughing at Lawton’s comment before I begin typing…..ok..done.*
On July 9, I have to take a 7 day long class (8 am to 4 pm) on ESOL. It is part of a required 300 hours of study I have to take for professional certification. It’s so I can help speakers of other languages fit into the classrooms and accomodate their special needs. I say it’s bullshit, and should be reciprocal. If the teachers have to take 300 hours of instruction, the parents of the students have to take 300 hours of English instruction.

NOTHING! Welcome to the political crapfest called America where if you somehow aid the multimillions of illegals and make them your friends, they will probably vote for you!!! So go with the flow America because you voted for these people so they make the decisions for you! Now get on the phone, fax or email and tell those that your tax dollars pay for what you want them to do!!

Before the bill emerged, I was of the impression that something like 70% of Americans were in favor of this kind of legislation.
