So the wife went into baby labor pains on Thursday which prompted Andy 1 and I to leave work a little early. After a visit to the hospital, they decided that she was having contractions but she wasn’t dilating or anything to warrant us staying around. Friday came and went with me going to work with everyone waiting for the phone call and mad rush home. That never came but by the time I got home, the wife was having stronger contractions and at a more regular frequency.

Come 11 PM last night, the contractions would not let her sleep and she could not stay in one position through the night. We gave up around 4:30 and decided to take our showers, eat breakfast and make our way to the hospital as we had a stress test planned in the AM anyway. Upon arrival, they said that she had dilated 2cm and that they would admit her as she was 41 days and over due anyway.

So here we sit waiting on baby peanut, it is currently 7:39 and family and friends have been texted or called. If you did not receive a call or text by me or through a planned chain, I appologize.

8:30AM-5 cm dilated and 100% effaced. TIME FOR THE DRUGS!!!

9:30AM - She can’t feel her legs………….or the contractions for that matter! Drugs are great!

10:45AM - Water is broken…..we mean business now Peanut!
