2 weeks and what I have learned

Diaper or food, that’s the options that you have to offer the Gods when the screaming baby can’t tell you what is wrong.  They may just be fussy, but you won’t know that until options A and B are exhausted.  Luckily, feedings hold a schedule so you can knock that one off usually.

If you accept that you won’t get any sleep and any sleep that you do get is the best damn sleep ever, your life goes a lot better.  If you also accept that the child is not intentionally being a pain in the ass while keeping you up at night and deaf through the evening, it will allow you to get through things alot easier.

Diaper changing is like a pit stop.  You had better get your job done fast and clean or you could face the rectal cannon or flood gates.  FU-UUUUUUN!!  Thre have been many a changings that went from a simple one diaper swap to two or more diapers along with a bunch of wipes.

You forgot “gas”. “Food”, “diaper”, “gas” — these are your options.

Ahhh yes the gas. That is the best one yet! trying to “pump” the gas out of your child as they scream bloody murder. Fu—uuuuun

  5. Doug says:

You do that too? Do you accompany it with a vigorous stomach rub, or do you just do the “use the knees as a piston head” method to help out?
