100 Freakin degrees
And once again, even in a new home, it seems that my HVAC system can’t keep up. The lower zone has been on most of the day and can’t get below 80 degrees. Guess I will have to call in a service person Monday to charge the system and perform the maintenance.
JOY!!

It hit 98.5 here today. Our master bedroom is a converted attic, ie third floor. We can shut off the HVAC to the first floor so it just cools the 2nd & 3rd. Even so, over the weekend our bedroom was 85, 2nd floor was 80 and this 1st was 74. Sleeping on the couch at our house in the summer is a privilege.

I should also note that when the 1st floor is 70 in the winter, our bedroom can still hit 80 when it’s only 28 outside.

I have the same issues up and down. Sounds like you are on a single unit.
Agent….you should have had a thorough inspection prior to moving in. Did you get a home warranty along with your house? I had a one year job thrown in with my purchase and had the same thing happen teh first summer. It happened again going into my third summer. Slow leak not justifying full blown repair or replacement but could cuase your problems as well as run the unit longer. Forgot to mention this in the email.
